Join our team of community-based doulas by taking the first steps and participating in the Summer 2024 Community-Based Doula Training!
Comprehensive training and hands-on experience are provided to you at no cost.
Doula eligibility requirements:
Live within Kent County
Identify as black and/or a person of color
Passion for supporting birthing people of color
Our doulas provide holistic, culturally affirming support to birthing people of color throughout their full reproductive experience to address the racial inequalities in parental and infant health outcomes.
Summer 2024 Training Series: Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks starting June 4th - July 11th, 6-9 pm at Baxter Community Center
*This training series is intended for individuals that have no previous doula training. It will provide a foundation of information on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum doula care.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis
